As part of a broad commercial real estate practice, Blake Rebling represents lenders, investors, developers, utility providers, buyers, and sellers with new projects and developments and also with purchases and sales of existing assets.
He regularly represents lenders and investors with construction financing, including mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, and equity investments. Since 2013, Blake has represented lenders with the placement of more than $2.2 billion of loans and investments, including more than $1.7 billion of construction financing for projects with aggregate budgets totaling $6.6 billion.
Blake also routinely represents utility districts with property and easement acquisitions for new substations, transmission lines, agricultural well systems, and pipeline infrastructure, as well as leases and other property matters. Blake also represents developers with acquiring, developing, leasing, and selling multifamily, office, and industrial properties.
Blake assists clients with deal negotiation and with the review of title, survey, environmental, and other due diligence matters. Blake gives practical advice and is keen on analyzing and mitigating risk with a cost-centric approach.
Blake previously worked as a commercial litigator focusing on title-insurance claims and construction-defect matters. He has also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Ann A. Scott Timmer of the Arizona Court of Appeals, as a legal intern for the Arizona Governor’s Office, and as a legal extern for U.S. Senator Jon Kyl, where he worked with Judiciary Committee staff during a U.S. Supreme Court nomination.
